Large Open Treasure Chest Diorama SuppliesRef. 1521D1:18

The large open treasure chest by MyPortal Studios brings a striking find to treasure hunts, storage areas, and maritime dioramas. It works as a focal point or an additional detail in a model scene and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.

The rectangular chest is topped with a distinctly domed, open lid. Irregular wood textures define the surfaces, while metal bands running lengthwise and across the sides, along with rivets, hinges, and a central clasp, add further visible accents. The chest and lid are separate pieces and can be positioned individually during assembly. This lets you stage the open chest in different ways to suit your diorama.

The following ideas show how the treasure chest can be placed in different model worlds:

• 1:18: In a ship or garage diorama, the chest can be displayed as a discovery on a wooden cargo deck, adding a small treasure hunt to a collector’s display case.
• 1:20: A warehouse makes a fitting setting, where the open treasure chest can take center stage in a salvage scene on top of a crate near the loading hatch.
• 1:22,5: Place the recovered treasure chest beside a bollard or at the edge of the platform in a garden railway harbor scene.
• 1:24: In a dollhouse or miniature room, the chest can sit on the floor of a captain’s cabin as a discovery that adds to the maritime setting.
• 1:32: In a ship diorama, place the treasure chest on deck near the companionway, as though it has just been brought up from the hold.
• 1:35: In a landscape diorama, the chest can sit on a rocky outcrop at the edge of a pirate camp, drawing attention to the scene as a discovered treasure.

You will receive an unpainted model-making object designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The settings, bases, and additional scene accessories described are suggestions and are not included.
