The military transport crate by MyPortal Studios adds versatile miniature accessories for equipment, ammunition, or supplies to dioramas and model-building scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be incorporated as a storage detail into a variety of model worlds.
The box-shaped crate has a reinforced frame with crossbars and corner braces. Its open front reveals the empty interior; separately depicted framed elements show its multi-part construction. The textured surface and rough, weathered-looking construction style suit military transport and supply scenes without prescribing a particular paint scheme.
Depending on the scale, the miniature crate can be placed in various parts of a suitable model scene. The following ideas are suggestions for how to use it:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the transport crate sits at the edge of an improvised supply station beside other equipment.
- 1:20: For a military diorama, the crate can be placed as a storage detail at a makeshift distribution point.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway landscape, it adds to a military resupply scene at the edge of a small storage area.
- 1:24: As an accessory for a ship diorama, the crate can sit on the working deck near the supply area.
- 1:32: In a Gauge 1 landscape scene, a suitable spot is beside a field camp or a small transport station.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, the crate fits at the edge of a maintenance and supply scene beside the military vehicle.
Supplied is an unpainted model-making object designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The described settings, vehicles, and additional scene accessories are suggestions and are not included.
