The round-arched church gate with double doors by MyPortal Studios adds a striking stone entrance to dioramas and model-building scenes. This unpainted decorative piece is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and works as a focal point on a church façade or as a distinctive architectural feature in a miniature setting.

At the center are two door leaves with vertical plank texture, surrounding frames and crossbars. Curved decorative straps, suggested rivets and central door knobs add detail to the carefully finished door panels. Rough-hewn stone blocks form the surround of the solid round arch, bringing the design of a historic church entrance to life.

The different scales offer a variety of ways to incorporate the church gate into a model-building setting:

  • 1:18: As the entrance to a small monastery church in an architectural model, at the end of a cobbled courtyard.
  • 1:20: As a focal point in a medieval-inspired miniature setting, at the far side of a winding village square.
  • 1:22,5: For a church scene on a garden railway, right beside a footpath between the station and the village.
  • 1:24: As the entrance to a chapel in a dollhouse setting, placed at the end of a small courtyard.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
