The wide neoclassical fireplace surround by MyPortal Studios is a decorative building element for miniature rooms, architectural models, and detailed dioramas. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can give interiors a clearly defined, stately fireplace area.
The symmetrical surround frames a large rectangular firebox opening with a deep hearth. Side pilasters with relief details, multiple stepped plinth and cornice moldings, and a projecting upper mantel with recessed decorative panels define the neoclassical design. Its sculpted contours and surfaces provide a striking architectural feature for miniature settings.
Depending on the scale, the fireplace surround can be incorporated into a variety of model settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and placements:
