The single knotted sandbag from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive ground-level detail to military dioramas and other modeling settings. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as part of a defensive position, a field camp, or a custom scene.
The broad, flat body is irregularly rounded and appears tightly filled. A clearly visible knot sits at the gathered end, while folds and indentations define the roughly textured surface. The piece depicts a sandbag already in use, with a shape and relief that make it stand out even as a small element in a larger setting.
The following scale suggestions show how the sandbag can fit into a variety of model settings:
- 1:18: As cover beside a position in a military diorama in a collector's display case.
- 1:20: At the edge of a fortified passage in a miniature setting with a makeshift field position.
- 1:22,5: Beside a guard post in a section of terrain on a garden railway layout.
