The filled sandbag from MyPortal Studios is an unpainted diorama detail for military scenes and versatile scale modeling. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as an additional decorative element in display cases, miniature settings, and vehicle or landscape dioramas.
The model depicts a tightly filled sandbag lying at a slight angle, with an irregular silhouette. Its roughly textured, slightly wrinkled surface resembles durable fabric. At the gathered opening, overlapping fabric ends give the impression of a knot. A coarse weave, pronounced folds, and visible seams give the surface a sculpted appearance. The simple design can be depicted as part of an improvised fortification or as a discarded piece of equipment.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag can play different roles in a scene. These placement ideas can help you incorporate the accessory into a model project:
