The “Weathered Doghouse” diorama building by MyPortal Studios makes a striking focal point in dioramas and scale-modeling settings. This freestanding building is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works well as a small outbuilding in richly detailed scenes.
The rectangular structure has a pitched gable roof with roughly textured, overlapping roof tiles. A generous arched entrance defines the front. The irregular vertical plankwork and visible fasteners give the exterior walls a rough, weathered appearance. This simple, aged-looking building fits into rural, remote, or story-driven miniature settings.
The scale suggestions below show how the doghouse can be featured in different settings:
- 1:18: As a weathered outbuilding at the edge of a garage diorama, beside a small driveway and away from the main activity.
