The large grain sieve from MyPortal Studios brings a convincing work detail to barn, farmyard, and workshop dioramas. This flat, round tool is available for model making in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and complements rural scenes as well as craft-focused settings.
Its recognizable shape consists of a sturdy outer rim and a closely gridded sieve surface with numerous small openings. The robust, straightforward design evokes the process of cleaning grain: in the depicted work, grain can be separated from chaff and larger particles. As a small scene detail, the sieve can bring a work area on a farm, in a barn, or in a workshop to life.
Depending on the scale, the sieve can be incorporated into different model-making worlds. These suggestions show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the grain sieve can rest on a work surface in a rural-style workshop corner.
- 1:20: For an architectural model, a spot on the farmyard floor beside the entrance to a small barn would work well.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway landscape, the sieve can sit on a shelf at the edge of a farmyard scene.
- 1:24: In a miniature room, it can be arranged as a harvest tool on a table in a rustic pantry.
- 1:32: A Gauge 1 farm scene gains a fitting harvest detail with the sieve beside a grain sack at the edge of the barn floor.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene, the sieve can be placed on a low bench in a rural work area.
You will receive an unpainted model-making object based on a design by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
