The traffic cone by MyPortal Studios is a distinctive decorative object for road, urban, and infrastructure dioramas, as well as versatile model scenes. It works as a barrier detail at construction sites, entrances, or military-themed locations and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The model has a sturdy, conical silhouette with a gently rounded tip and several stepped rings. Below is a broad, square base with rounded corners. Its clearly defined shape captures the look of a traffic cone used for barriers and can be adapted through painting to modern, industrial, or military scenes.
Depending on the scale, the traffic cone can be used in different parts of a miniature scene as a visible indication of a road closure:
- 1:18: As a barrier in front of the workshop door in a garage diorama, beside a parked model car.
- 1:20: At the edge of a closed access road in a street diorama, in front of an architectural model façade.
- 1:22,5: Beside a railway crossing in a garden railway station scene, marking a closed construction passage.
