The storage can from MyPortal Studios adds a compact provisions detail to warehouse, market and transport dioramas. The model suits a variety of model-making worlds and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35.
The low, wide shape is topped with a flat, slightly domed lid and a surrounding rim. Several horizontal reinforcing ribs divide the sides, while the base and lid look like tightly pressed closures. The design is reminiscent of an industrially made container for provisions and supplies, and works as a small prop in warehouse, kitchen or military scenes.
Depending on the scale, the can can be incorporated into a range of model settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and specific placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the storage can can sit on a workshop shelf beside other stored supplies.
- 1:20: In a miniature scene, it could sit on the counter of an improvised field kitchen.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the can can sit on a stack of provision crates at the edge of a small storage area.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse, it can be arranged as provisions on a kitchen shelf or in a pantry.
