This diorama craftwork accessory features a leather drying rack with loosely hanging hides, adding a striking detail to workshop, artisan, and construction scenes. The decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, making it suitable for a range of model-making and diorama projects.

Four long poles and a horizontal crossbar form the freestanding rack. Coarse rope wrappings join the upper ends, with several irregularly cut leather hides hanging over them. Their softly draped, slightly wavy surfaces obscure parts of the rack and give the handcrafted subject a lively, rustic appearance.

Depending on the scale, the rack can be placed in a variety of model-making settings. The following suggestions offer possible scenes and placements:

  • 1:18: As a focal point in an artisan's workshop, beside the work area in a garage diorama.
  • 1:20: As part of a historical tannery, at the edge of an architectural model featuring a workshop yard.
  • 1:22,5: In a rural garden railway scene, beside the path leading to a small craft workshop.
  • 1:24: As a workshop detail in a miniature room, near the wall of a simple artisan's workspace.
  • 1:32: In a gauge 1 landscape, at the edge of a small artisan's yard away from the tracks.
  • 1:35: As part of a historical workshop scene, beside the entrance to a tannery in a vehicle diorama.

This unpainted model-making object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are for inspiration and are not included.
