The freestanding leather drying rack with animal hide from MyPortal Studios adds a handcrafted touch to workshop, storage, and historical model-making scenes. This unpainted diorama accessory is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works as a focal point or an additional work detail in a miniature setting.
The rack consists of irregularly arranged rods, with visible lashings at the joints emphasizing its improvised, handmade appearance. A large, organically shaped animal hide hangs at the center, with a rough-looking surface texture. The combination of rack, bindings, and hide evokes the drying and storage of hides.
Depending on the scale, the rack can be integrated into a variety of workshop and landscape scenes. The following suggestions show possible settings and placements:
