The military transport crate with insert from MyPortal Studios is a detailed decorative object for military dioramas, model-making and collector's display cases. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be added as an equipment detail to a variety of scenes.
The elongated container has rounded edges, reinforced corners, and side latches and handles. There is a recessed opening at the front with a removable insert. The functional surface design evokes a military equipment crate and provides a basis for custom painting and weathering.
Depending on the scale, the crate can play different roles in a model-making scene. Here are some ideas:
- 1:18: As an equipment crate beside a vehicle in a garage diorama or military collector's display case.
- 1:20: As a stored supply crate against the wall of an improvised military camp in a miniature setting.
- 1:22,5: At the edge of a country lane in a garden railway landscape, near a small military observation post.
