The unpainted sandbag with a knotted closure by MyPortal Studios adds a versatile detail to military dioramas and other modeling scenes. Available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, it works equally well on its own or as part of a depicted defensive position or storage area.

The elongated model depicts a filled, slightly sunken body with irregular contours, a coarse woven texture, and natural folds. A distinctive tied knot is detailed at one end. Its shape and surface evoke a filled sandbag without prescribing a paint scheme.

The following ideas show how the sandbag can be incorporated into different modeling settings at the appropriate scale:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, as a discarded defensive sandbag beside the entrance to an improvised security position.
  • 1:20: In an architectural model setting, as a single sandbag at the foot of a temporary barricade.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway landscape, as part of a small sandbag wall at the edge of a military-themed station scene.
  • 1:24: In a military diorama, as stored supplies beside crates and equipment against the wall of a field camp.
  • 1:32: In a landscape diorama scene, as a protective sandbag at the entrance to an occupied observation post.
  • 1:35: In a workshop scene, as a single sandbag on the floor of an improvised repair and supply station.

This unpainted modeling piece was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The settings described are suggestions for scene design; additional scene accessories are not included.
