The cabinet door by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive furniture detail to kitchens, dollhouses, and other diorama and model-making interiors. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be added as a standalone design element to a variety of miniature scenes.
The vertically oriented design has a clean rectangular shape, with a gently contoured, slightly recessed front and rounded edges. Its visible thickness gives the door a solid look, while a small fitting can be seen on the back. It represents a kitchen cabinet front that can be used as a closed door or as a door that appears to open within a furnished scene.
These ideas show how the cabinet door can be incorporated into different model-making settings at each scale:
- 1:18: In a miniature room, it can complement a cozy interior scene as a kitchen front beside a worktop.
- 1:20: For an architectural model, it makes a distinctive feature in a compact kitchen, perhaps on the wall opposite a small dining area.
- 1:22.5: In a station scene, it can be placed as a kitchen cabinet door in a small station building.
- 1:24: A dollhouse can have a custom kitchen front with this cabinet door, for example beside a suggested stove.
- 1:32: In a landscape diorama, it can find a place on the kitchen wall as a furnishing detail in a remote cabin.
- 1:35: For a workshop scene, the door makes an unusual detail in a makeshift kitchenette, perhaps on a small wall cabinet.
This unpainted physical model-making piece was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested settings are ideas for your scene; additional accessories are not included.
