The large-leaf ivy plant by MyPortal Studios adds a striking natural accent to dioramas and model-making scenes. It works well as visible ground cover, in planted corners, or as a potted plant in a miniature scene. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The short, sturdy stem bears several large, lobed ivy leaves and smaller leaves near the base. Detailed leaf veins, irregular edges, and gently curved shapes give each leaf an organic appearance. The plant motif creates a natural contrast with buildings, paths, and other elements in a model landscape.
Depending on the scale, the plant can be incorporated into different model worlds. These ideas suggest possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the ivy can bring a planted corner of a wall to life beside the workshop area.
- 1:20: In an architectural model, the plant complements a courtyard flower bed or an overgrown corner at the foot of a facade.
- 1:22,5: For a garden railway, it can be placed as lush greenery along a garden path or beside a small building.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse, the ivy can accent a planter on a terrace or in a green indoor space.
