The broad-leaved ground cover plant (Ref. 518D) adds a natural accent to dioramas, landscape models, and other model scenes. This compact plant clump is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used to create small green spaces between paths, buildings, or other landscape features.
Several softly rounded, slightly upright leaves define the shape of this miniature plant. Sculpted leaf veins add fine surface detail, while the flat, irregular ground base at the bottom gives the plant clump an organic, three-dimensional appearance. This individual ground-cover element works well as a small patch of vegetation among stones, beside paths, or next to structures.
Depending on the scale, the plant can be added to different areas of a model setting. The following suggestions show possible placements and scenes for this diorama element:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, it adds a touch of green at the edge of a paved driveway.
- 1:20: In a miniature architectural setting, it softens the transition between a building foundation and a narrow walkway.
