The folding field chair by MyPortal Studios is a compact accessory for military and camp dioramas, as well as versatile model scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and adds to depictions of mobile deployment sites, workshop areas or makeshift rest areas.
The model depicts a straightforward folding chair with a tubular frame, side cross braces and continuous runners. The seat and backrest feature taut fabric; visible joints and braces emphasize the typical folding construction. Its simple shape and clearly defined surfaces make it especially suitable for field camps and artillery scenes.
The following suggestions show how the field chair can fit into different model settings, depending on scale:
- 1:18: As a seat beside equipment and tools in a military diorama or garage scene.
- 1:20: At a map or supply table in a field camp miniatures setting.
- 1:22,5: Beside a small campsite along a garden railway track, as part of a station scene.
- 1:24: Against the wall of a ship's cabin or beside a worktable as a detail in a ship diorama.
- 1:32: At the edge of a makeshift rest area in a military-themed landscape diorama.
- 1:35: Beside toolboxes in a workshop scene or vehicle diorama, as a portable seat.
