The fern plant with fronds by MyPortal Studios adds a dense natural detail to dioramas, landscape models and other model-building scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35 and can be used as a standalone plant or as part of lush vegetation, depending on the scene.
Numerous overlapping fronds give the fern its bushy shape. Each frond has a clearly defined central stem and finely serrated leaflets. A short, conical base at the bottom is designed to provide stability and allow placement in a landscape. This detailed plant form adds a natural accent to miniature landscapes and can serve as a focal point or complement other vegetation.
The following scale suggestions show how the fern can fit into different model-building settings:
- 1:18: As tall vegetation at the edge of a garage diorama, beside an overgrown driveway.
- 1:20: As a green accent in an architectural model, right beside an overgrown building edge or garden wall.
- 1:22,5: As a fern on the damp edge of an embankment in a garden railway landscape, near a small path.
- 1:24: As dense vegetation in a miniature room planting corner, against a wall or beside a low garden fence.
- 1:32: As waterside vegetation in a landscape diorama, at the edge of a narrow stream.
- 1:35: As undergrowth in a forest scene for a vehicle diorama, beside a path or at the base of a slope.
This unpainted model-building object was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested settings and other scene accessories are not included.
