The classic outdoor wall lantern without glass from MyPortal Studios is a decorative scene detail for dioramas and scale modeling. It is suitable for decorating building facades, entrances, and atmospheric outdoor settings. This unpainted object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The flared, tapered lantern body has a broad roof with sloping struts. The candle-shaped light source remains visible; a decorative cover with a small finial and the pointed lower end define its classic silhouette. A wall bracket with a rectangular mounting plate and curved arm is attached to the side. The design details keep the lantern clearly defined, even on a finely detailed building facade.
Depending on the scale, the lantern can be incorporated into different modeling settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As facade decoration above the entrance to a garage diorama workshop, complementing a detailed collector's display case.
