The square street tree bed with protective grille by MyPortal Studios adds a clearly defined detail for sidewalks, squares, and other landscaped outdoor areas to city and street dioramas. The open interior can be arranged with soil, greenery, or a separately modeled tree. This decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The shallow, square enclosure has a raised edge and an open center. Closely spaced, rounded bars arranged around the perimeter form the protective grille and give the street tree bed a practical, sturdy appearance. The design highlights the tree pit as a distinct feature of the urban landscape; the interior offers space for custom greenery.
Depending on the scale, the bed can be used as a decorative accent in different parts of a miniature scene:
- 1:18: As a planted tree pit beside a sidewalk in a street diorama, ideal for an urban model-making setting.
- 1:20: At the edge of a landscaped square in an architectural model, for example as a small patch of urban greenery between building facades.
- 1:22,5: Beside a station entrance in a garden railway scene, as a planted accent in a station setting.
