The sandbag barrier by MyPortal Studios adds a striking defensive position element to military dioramas and other modeling scenes. This unpainted decorative piece is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as a focal point or as part of a larger setting.

Three sandbags stand upright in a row, with another lying flat in front. The motif is defined by irregular, slightly indented shapes, detailed creases, and visible seams. Closed, knotted openings and a textured burlap-inspired surface give the barrier a weathered look and provide a good base for custom painting and weathering.

Depending on the scale, the sandbag barrier can play different roles in a scene. Here are some ideas:

  • 1:18: As cover at the edge of an improvised position in a military diorama, beside an observation point.
  • 1:20: As a low barrier in front of a field camp in a miniature setting, near the entrance to the position.
  • 1:22,5: As a fortified section at the edge of a trench in a garden railway landscape, near a cut in the terrain.
  • 1:24: As a defensive wall at a devastated street corner in a street diorama, in front of a depicted damaged building facade.
  • 1:32: As cover beside a field road in a landscape diorama, at the transition to a military position.
  • 1:35: As a barrier in front of a workshop gate in a vehicle diorama scene, beside a depicted service vehicle.

This unpainted modeling piece was designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested settings are ideas for scene design; additional scene accessories are not included.
