The projector lamp for field shelters is a distinctive decorative accessory for military dioramas and detailed model-building scenes. Available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, it can be used as an eye-catching feature on a shelter wall or as part of a larger field camp setting.
The model has a deep rectangular housing with a wide front frame and curved protective bars. The inner reflector remains visible behind the bars. A compact base at the bottom completes the design, giving the lamp the appearance of a pivot-mounted projector or searchlight. Its clearly defined surface is a good starting point for custom painting and weathering.
Depending on the scale, the lamp can be integrated into different model-building settings. These ideas suggest possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As a distinctive light feature on the inside wall of a spacious military diorama with a field shelter.
- 1:20: Above a work area in a miniature setting, such as beside maps and equipment in a makeshift shelter.
- 1:22,5: On the back wall of a garden railway scene, as a technical detail in a small guard post or field camp.
- 1:24: In a ship diorama, in a sheltered work nook to suit a military vessel or harbor installation.
- 1:32: Above the entrance to a Scale I military diorama, as a striking accent on an improvised command post.
- 1:35: On the inside side wall of a vehicle diorama, to furnish a cramped field shelter.
