The Mk 2 “Pineapple” hand grenade (Ref. 1689D) is a small military decorative item for detailed dioramas and model making. Available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, it adds a distinctive piece of equipment to scenes featuring historical military gear.

The squat, egg-shaped body features the characteristic block-like segmented ribs all around. The fuze housing, safety lever and safety ring are finely detailed at the top. Its angular shape and textured surface give the Mk 2 “Pineapple” its distinctive appearance.

Depending on the scale, the item can be integrated into model scenes such as these:

  • 1:18: As an equipment detail beside an M1 Garand rifle in a military collector's display case.
  • 1:20: On a stack of crates in the corner of a makeshift field camp in a military diorama.
  • 1:22,5: At the edge of a platform as a piece of abandoned equipment in a historical garden railway scene.
  • 1:24: On a workbench in a military workshop scene, surrounded by small model-making accessories.
  • 1:32: Beside equipment on the floor of a small command post in a landscape diorama.
  • 1:35: In the foreground of a vehicle diorama near M1 Garand equipment, as an eye-catching storytelling detail.

You will receive an unpainted model-making object designed by MyPortal Studios. It is intended as decoration for dioramas and model scenes and is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
