The metal bucket for field depots by MyPortal Studios adds a small, everyday detail to military dioramas and other model scenes. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be incorporated into a variety of miniature settings depending on the scale.
The model depicts a cylindrical bucket with slightly tapered sides, a reinforced rim, and a seam running around it. A side handle mount extends upward and has a round hanging hole; the sturdy base rim is also clearly defined. Its simple, rugged shape evokes a steel bucket used at a field depot. A movable handle is not depicted.
The following scene ideas show how the bucket can be placed in different model-making settings:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the bucket can stand beside a workbench or against the wall of a small supply area.
- 1:20: A field camp would suit a miniature setting, with the bucket placed at the entrance to a makeshift supply tent.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, it can stand at the edge of a platform beside a small maintenance or storage building.
- 1:24: In a dollhouse, the bucket can be staged in a simple utility room or beside a wash area.
