The single filled sandbag with a knot by MyPortal Studios adds a versatile detail to military dioramas and other modeling scenes. This decorative piece is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
Its compact, slightly irregular shape looks like a tightly filled fabric sack. Folds, visible seams, and indented areas define the surface, with a distinctive knot at the top. The motif works as a piece of stored equipment on its own or as a building block for depicted barricades, cover, and small fortifications.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag can play different roles in a scene. Here are a few placement suggestions:
- 1:18: As cover at the edge of a military scene in a garage diorama, beside a suggested access road.
- 1:20: As part of a field fortification in an architectural model, placed beside a modeled wall.
- 1:22,5: As stored supplies at a small post in a garden railway military diorama, right beside the path.
- 1:24: As a barricade detail in a military diorama, at the entrance to a modeled street scene.
- 1:32: As sandbag cover in a landscape scene, on a slope near a depicted field road.
