The separate parasol canopy from MyPortal Studios complements picnic areas, gardens, and outdoor spaces in dioramas and model scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as a standalone decorative element above a modeled picnic area.
The flat, folded polygonal cover has a central ridge and broad, projecting sides. Overlapping edges and slightly irregular borders create a lively, sculptural surface. Only the separate canopy is shown; the tabletop, bench, and parasol pole are not included.
Depending on the scale, the canopy can be incorporated into different model settings. The following scenes are suggestions for suitable placements:
- 1:18: As the centerpiece of a picnic area at the edge of a garage diorama, between the miniature room and display case.
- 1:20: Above a rest area in a small village square, set within an architectural model scene with planted flower beds.
- 1:22,5: As a covered meeting spot beside a garden railway path, near a rural station scene.
- 1:24: As a focal point at a garden party in a dollhouse garden, between the patio and miniature room.
- 1:32: Above a picnic area at the edge of a Slotcar racetrack, as a quiet accent in a landscape diorama scene.
- 1:35: As sun protection at a rest stop in a vehicle diorama setting, beside a path through the modeled landscape.
This unpainted physical model-making object is a decorative element, not a toy. The design is by MyPortal Studios. Suggested backdrops and other scene accessories are not included.
