The cylindrical public trash can with visible rubbish adds an everyday touch to city, street, and park dioramas. This unpainted decorative object from MyPortal Studios is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, adding a small, instantly recognizable urban detail to a variety of model scenes.
The container has a wide base, a ribbed body, and encircling rim profiles. A domed cover with a rectangular opening sits on top. Crumpled paper, a bag, and a drink can protrude visibly from the opening; the defined shapes and surfaces give this street accessory character, even in a busy scene.
Depending on the scale, the trash can can be used in different locations and paired with a suitable setting to create a cohesive miniature scene:
- 1:18: Beside a park bench at the edge of a garage diorama, the waste bin adds a realistic detail to a model car city scene.
- 1:20: Placed on the sidewalk in front of an architectural model, it adds an everyday public fixture to an urban street setting.
- 1:22,5: On a platform near the station entrance, it makes a small focal point in a garden railway scene.
- 1:24: At a street corner in a dollhouse setting, the bin brings a touch of everyday urban life to the miniature room.
- 1:32: Beside the path near a platform building, it adds a distinctive infrastructure detail to a 1-gauge landscape scene.
- 1:35: In front of a workshop or at a building corner, the trash can brings a vehicle diorama or plastic model scene to life.
You will receive an unpainted model accessory designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The settings described and additional scene accessories are suggestions and are not included.
