The freestanding roadside advertising sign from MyPortal Studios makes a striking focal point along roads, in squares, or in the outdoor areas of dioramas. It is suitable as a customizable advertising or information board for a wide range of model settings and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The smooth rectangular sign panel sits between two slender round posts and is supported by several side brackets. A slightly curved crossbar connects the posts at the top; widened foot plates give the structure a sturdy appearance. The sign panel can be customized as outdoor advertising, an information board, or a public noticeboard, with space for an image suited to the scene.
The following ideas show how the sign can fit into different model-building settings at each scale:
- 1:18: As an advertising sign at the entrance to a garage diorama, beside the workshop driveway.
- 1:20: As an information board in an architectural model scene, at the entrance to a small town square.
- 1:22,5: As a signpost or noticeboard in a garden railway scene, near a platform entrance.
- 1:24: As outdoor advertising in a miniature street scene, right outside a shop.
- 1:32: As a trackside sign on a Slotcar racetrack, at the edge of a marked bend.
- 1:35: As a public noticeboard in a vehicle diorama, beside the entrance to a workshop yard.
