MyPortal Studios’ four-meter electricity meter station adds a distinctive technical detail to street, building, and infrastructure dioramas. Suitable for model-making projects in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, it creates a convincing accent on a house wall, at a utility point, or at the edge of a detailed street scene.
The industrial design consists of four meter boxes, each with a raised display panel. Short sections of pipe connect the boxes to a shared network of conduits; horizontal collector pipes run between the elements at the top and are supported by two vertical posts. Pipe bends, couplings, and small feet define the clearly structured shape. The visible details give the station a technically intricate appearance without overwhelming its compact overall form.
Depending on the scale, the electricity meter station can represent different utility locations in a model setting:
- 1:18: As a technical focal point beside the entrance to a model workshop or at the edge of a garage diorama.
- 1:20: For an architectural model, as a utility station on the exterior wall of a townhouse near a narrow side street.
- 1:22.5: In a garden railway station scene, beside a small service building at the transition between the platform and the row of buildings.
- 1:24: As an infrastructure detail in a street diorama, on the wall of a house near the sidewalk and front entrance.
- 1:32: For a landscape diorama, as a power connection at a remote service building on the edge of a small yard.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene, as a wall detail beside the entrance to a workshop hall, between the building and paved forecourt.
