The neoclassical sash window by MyPortal Studios adds an architectural accent to dioramas, building models, and custom model scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works as a distinctive facade detail for classic cityscapes and historic settings.
The rectangular window features a finely divided sash window with a semicircular transom. Wedge-shaped stone blocks frame the arch, while multiple profiled cornices and side pilasters with recessed panels add visible depth to the design. It is intended for integration into a plastered facade, as well as for use as a detail in stone masonry or on an elegant city building.
Depending on the scale, the window can be used as a defining facade element in a variety of scenes and locations:
- 1:18: As the window front of a grand townhouse, placed on the side wall of an architectural or street diorama.
- 1:20: As an eye-catching feature on the facade of a classic townhouse, built into a miniature setting with a cobbled street.
- 1:22,5: As an upper-floor window in a small station building, on the platform side of a garden railway scene.
- 1:24: As a historic window in a dollhouse or miniature room, set into the exterior wall of an elegant residence.
- 1:32: As facade decoration on an old townhouse, positioned above the entrance to a Gauge 1 street scene.
