The tall wall pillar with capstone by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive stone architectural detail to dioramas and architectural models. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and can be used as a standalone accent or as part of a designed wall structure.
The rectangular pillar has an almost square, solid-looking cross-section. Irregularly laid masonry stones, deeply defined joints, and a lightly weathered finish create a vivid stone appearance. A noticeably wider, angular capstone tops the piece. Its shape works well as the end of a wall or as a striking focal point in an architectural or street scene.
Depending on the scale, the pillar can be incorporated into different model-making worlds. The following suggestions show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the wall pillar can create a distinctive transition beside a driveway or at the edge of a paved yard.
- 1:20: In an architectural model, it can form a stone end to a low wall at the entrance to a historic courtyard.
