The low brick wall by MyPortal Studios is a versatile building element for dioramas and model making. It works as a courtyard wall, property boundary, or part of an urban backdrop and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The solid piece features evenly staggered rectangular bricks and clearly recessed mortar joints. Slightly irregular edges and surfaces give the wall a handcrafted texture. It has no doors, windows, or other openings, making it suitable as a continuous boundary or as a section in a building scene.
The wall can complement different model-making settings depending on the scale. Here are a few ideas for suitable scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As the boundary of a small courtyard beside a model car garage, with the wall at the back of the garage scene.
- 1:20: As a side property boundary in an architectural model, running alongside a narrow path between buildings.
- 1:22,5: As a low border around a garden railway station forecourt, beside the entrance to the platform.
- 1:24: As the boundary of a dollhouse garden, directly behind a small patio in a miniature room.
- 1:32: As a rural property boundary in a landscape diorama, beside a tractor path.
- 1:35: As an undamaged section of wall at the edge of a workshop scene, between a building and a narrow access road in a vehicle diorama.
You will receive an unpainted physical model-making object, not an STL download. The design is by MyPortal Studios; the wall is not a toy. The suggested backdrops and additional scene accessories are not included.
