The Gothic church window by MyPortal Studios is a decorative façade element for dioramas and architectural models. It works well as a striking focal point on a church façade, a ruin, or a medieval-style setting. The window is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The deeply stepped frame culminates in a tall pointed arch and features recessed decorative moldings and a wide lower sill. The divided window pane has a delicate leaded-glass pattern and a narrow central divider. Round tracery panels and a trefoil-like ornament in the upper roundel define the Gothic design, giving the window opening a detailed, three-dimensional look.
Depending on the scale, the window can be integrated into various modeling settings. The following ideas show possible scenes and placements:
- 1:18: As a window in a small monastery chapel at the edge of a miniature room, with space for an atmospheric architectural setting.
- 1:20: Set into the side façade of a medieval church ruin in a street diorama, near a paved entrance.
- 1:22,5: As a detail on a village church along a garden railway, above a landscaped embankment.
- 1:24: Integrated into the wall of a Gothic dollhouse building, for example above a narrow bench in a medieval interior.
- 1:32: As a decorative opening on a small church at the edge of a Gauge 1 landscape, overlooking the village square.
- 1:35: Set into the façade of a damaged chapel for a plastic model ruin scene, beside a weathered-looking section of wall.
The window is an unpainted modeling piece designed by MyPortal Studios. It is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are for inspiration and are not included.
