The portable construction site floodlight on a tripod from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive point of light to construction, workshop and outdoor scenes. This decorative object for model making and dioramas is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and works as a focal point beside buildings, work areas or paths.
The model features two rectangular floodlight housings with protective grilles on a wide crossbar. Side adjustment knobs and joints emphasize the lights’ positioning. The central, apparently telescopic pole is divided by several clamping rings and stands on three legs designed to fold out, with round foot caps. Its clearly recognizable shape makes the floodlight a fitting feature for construction and work scenes.
Depending on the scale, the tripod can be placed in a variety of model-making settings. The following suggestions show suitable scenes and specific placements:
- 1:18: As construction site lighting beside the entrance to a model car garage or at the edge of a garage diorama.
- 1:20: As a work light at a temporary construction site, right beside the construction fence in an architectural model scene.
- 1:22,5: As a nighttime point of light in the forecourt of a small station in a garden railway landscape.
- 1:24: As a construction floodlight by the workshop entrance in a miniature setting, beside a marked work area in a garage diorama.
- 1:32: As lighting for a construction area at the edge of a Gauge 1 layout, beside an unpaved access road in a landscape diorama.
- 1:35: As a light source for a workshop scene, placed beside the entrance to a building under construction in a vehicle diorama.
