The small slatted metal trash can from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive everyday detail to streets, squares, and outdoor areas in a diorama. The model is suitable for city and landscape scenes as well as a variety of model-making projects, and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The cylindrical shape flares slightly toward the top and is finished with a rounded rim and closed base. Narrow, regularly spaced vertical slots define the surface; an additional row of small openings near the bottom and visible edges emphasize the sturdy look of a public waste bin.
Depending on the scale, the trash can can be placed in a variety of settings. The following suggestions offer some ideas for your scene:
- 1:18: As a sidewalk detail in a city setting, ideal for a street diorama beside a house entrance.
- 1:20: Beside a park bench in an architectural miniature setting, at the edge of a paved path.
- 1:22,5: On the platform in a garden railway station scene, beside a shelter or seating area.
- 1:24: At the entrance to a dollhouse with a small forecourt, right by the sidewalk.
- 1:32: At a stop in a 1-gauge landscape, beside the entrance to the platform.
- 1:35: At the edge of a vehicle diorama with a workshop scene, near the entrance to a commercial building.
This unpainted model accessory is a decorative item designed by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
