The public trash can with domed lid from MyPortal Studios adds a functional everyday detail to city, street, and architectural models. This freestanding decorative object is suitable for dioramas and model making in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
Its simple design consists of a cylindrical container with a rounded base and a slightly projecting rim. A domed lid with a wide rectangular opening at the front sits on top. The understated design works as urban infrastructure in both modern and more generic street scenes.
Depending on the scale, the waste bin can be placed in different locations in a model scene. These suggestions show some possible uses:
- 1:18: As a detail beside the entrance to a city garage in a garage diorama.
- 1:20: Beside a sidewalk in front of a building in an architectural street scene.
- 1:22,5: By the platform entrance in a garden railway station scene.
