The public trash can from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive urban infrastructure detail to dioramas and model scenes. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can bring street scenes, squares, and designed outdoor spaces to life.
The cylindrical shape is defined by narrow vertical ribs, encircling rings, and a stepped base. A wide, slightly domed lid closes the top of the body; a rounded rectangular opening at the front serves as the slot. Its pronounced contours bring the design of a sturdy-looking city trash can to life, even in small model worlds.
Depending on the scale, the trash can can be placed in different locations in a miniature scene:
- 1:18: As a detail in a garage diorama, beside the entrance to a workshop or by a small yard driveway.
- 1:20: In a street diorama, at the edge of a modeled sidewalk in front of a public building.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, beside a bench or platform entrance as part of a detailed station setting.
- 1:24: In a miniature room, in front of a small shop entrance or at the edge of a paved courtyard.
- 1:32: As street furniture in a 1-gauge scene, near a stop or in a small square along the route.
