The open stackable box from MyPortal Studios is a versatile decorative object for storage, market and transport scenes in diorama and model-making projects. It can hold individually customized goods or supplies and is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35.

The rectangular storage box has an open top, a reinforced rim and slightly rounded corners. Reinforcing braces around the sides and recessed panels define its sturdy, textured exterior, while the interior is smooth. Its practical crate design makes it a fitting storage container for market, supply and transport settings.

Depending on the scale, the stackable box can be incorporated into a variety of model worlds. The following design ideas suggest possible scenes and specific locations for the object:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, place the storage box beside a shelf of workshop supplies to complement a small collector's display.
  • 1:20: For a market street, it can be placed at the entrance to a miniature shop as a container for goods or supplies.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway scene, the crate fits on the platform beside a small storage building.

Product Notes

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
