The wall telephone without a handset from MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive public-space detail to dioramas and model-building settings. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and can be used as a focal point on a building wall or in a street scene.

The tall, vertical housing is designed to sit close to a wall and features rounded edges and a prominent frame. The empty holder at the top makes the missing handset clear. The front features a keypad, small openings, and recessed panels; a side slot completes the look of a public coin- or card-operated telephone.

The different scales offer ideas for a variety of settings and placements:

  • 1:18: In a garage diorama, the wall telephone can be mounted on an interior wall next to the entrance to a small workshop area.
  • 1:20: For a street diorama, it can be placed on the exterior wall of a narrow shop in a busy city lane.
  • 1:22,5: In a garden railway station scene, it can be added to the wall of a small station building near the entrance.
  • 1:24: As a miniature room detail, it would work well on the wall of a hallway or entryway.
  • 1:32: In a Gauge 1 landscape, the telephone can be placed on the exterior wall of a small station building along the platform.
  • 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, it can add a finishing touch to a street scene when placed on the side wall of an urban workshop building.

This is an unpainted model-building object based on a design by MyPortal Studios and is not a toy. The suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
