The Type A04 military crate, a multi-part assembly by MyPortal Studios, adds a distinctive transport detail to dioramas, model-making scenes and collector's display cases. This physical decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and works well as a focal point or for creating a convincing storage and transport scene.

The angular crate features broad panels, surrounding frame strips and reinforcing braces. Numerous fittings and side latches define the outer surfaces; sturdy feet emphasize its transport-oriented design. The multi-part assembly reproduces the lid, side panels and base in detail, allowing the construction to be seen from different angles.

Depending on the scale, the crate can take on different roles in a scene. Here are a few ideas for where to place it:

  • 1:18: As a transport crate beside an open workshop bay in a garage diorama, complementing a model car collector's scene.
  • 1:20: As a supply crate against the wall of a makeshift field camp in a miniature setting.
