The Military Diorama: Fuel Depot by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive storage feature to military and industrial themes in dioramas and model-making. This unpainted physical decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and can be used as a focal point or as part of a larger supply scene.
The rectangular tank body is divided into segmented, ribbed sections and features reinforced frame profiles. A surrounding drip tray encloses the tank; the separate raised support frame with cross-bracing adds another distinctive outline. The pipe with its curved connector completes the utilitarian industrial look and makes the fuel depot easy to recognize.
Depending on the scale, the fuel depot can complement different model-making scenes. Here are a few ideas for where to place it:
- 1:18: As a supply point in a garage diorama, beside a workshop wall or at the edge of a spacious military scene.
- 1:20: In an architectural model setting, as a tank installation behind a low supply building or along a driveway.
- 1:22,5: For a garden railway, as a remote fuel depot at the edge of an operational area, near a small maintenance shed.
- 1:24: In a miniature room scene, as a technical storage item against the wall of a workshop yard or in an industrial-themed collector’s display case.
- 1:32: In a landscape diorama, as a supply depot at the edge of a field camp or behind a low terrain ridge.
- 1:35: For a vehicle diorama, as a fuel depot in the background of a workshop scene, beside a driveway or an improvised work area.
You will receive an unpainted model-making object designed by MyPortal Studios. It is intended as diorama decor and is not a toy. Suggested settings and additional scene accessories are not included.
