The stack of plates by MyPortal Studios adds a compact detail for dioramas and model building to kitchens, dining areas and other miniature settings. This unpainted decorative object is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and can be placed on work surfaces, on shelves or at a serving area.
The design features numerous round, flat plates arranged evenly in a dense, cylindrical stack. Each plate has slightly raised edges; subtle gradations along the rims keep the individual layers visually distinct. A hint of wear rounds out the shape without changing the clear impression of stacked tableware.
Depending on the scale, the stack of plates can bring different scenes to life. Here are a few design suggestions for suitable model-building settings:
- 1:18: In a miniature room, the plates sit on a kitchen work surface beside the food preparation area.
- 1:20: For an architectural model cafeteria, the stack would fit on a serving counter behind the dining area.
- 1:22,5: In a garden railway station scene, the plates can be placed on a shelf in the small station café.
- 1:24: A dollhouse kitchen gains a dining detail when the stack sits on an open kitchen shelf.
- 1:32: For a ship diorama, the stack of plates can appear on a shelf in the galley of a Gauge 1 scene.
- 1:35: In a workshop scene with a break area, a work surface provides a place for the tableware.

The support structures remain on the figures for safe transport. These can be removed with fine pliers or carefully by hand. The figures can be gently heated with a hair dryer to facilitate release. Further information can be found in the FAQs .
