The sandbag position by MyPortal Studios is a decorative diorama element for defensive positions, adding a distinctive form of cover to military and landscape scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, and is suitable for displaying on its own or as part of a larger field fortification built with additional elements.
Numerous sandbags are stacked in an offset arrangement to form a long, irregularly rising wall that tapers off flat at one end. Visible seams and folds, bulging sack shapes, and indented areas at the contact points define the fabric-like surface texture. The design depicts a compact defensive position whose stepped outline can be used as a foreground element or as part of a longer defensive line.
Depending on the scale, the sandbag position can play different roles in a scene. These placement ideas offer inspiration for model building:
- 1:18: As cover at the edge of a military diorama, beside a driveway or an open area of terrain.
- 1:20: In an architectural model setting as a protective position beside a damaged wall or street entrance.

Product Notes
