This fantasy miniature depicts an armoured beast rider mounted on a long, scale-covered creature. The rider sits firmly in the saddle with legs spread, holding a long-handled battleaxe with a broad, curved blade and an additional spike at an angle beside the body. His free hand is open.

The multi-part plate armour features broad shoulder plates, overlapping hip armour, and knee and leg protection. Spiked bracers, a closed helmet with side horns and a long crest swept back, and a lavish fur cloak define this finely detailed miniature. The mount clings to a steep rock formation with its clawed legs spread wide. Its head thrusts forward, its toothy mouth wide open and its long tail raised high. Armour plates topped with tall spikes run across its head, neck and tail; a saddle, broad straps and numerous buckles complete its gear.

The round diorama base depicts a tall, rugged rock formation with rubble and several skulls. A set-down round shield and a blade planted in the ground are part of the scene and are not held equipment belonging to the rider.
