This tabletop figure from Rescale Miniatures depicts a Dark Paladin - a sinister knight with sword and tower shield, referred to in the product name as Hell Knight Leader. Whether for wargaming, dungeon crawling, role-playing, or army building: the model makes a striking statement on the battlefield and also serves as an eye-catching piece on the shelf - a versatile boss model for collectors and players. The pose is stable and wide-legged, with the weight slightly shifted forward. The shield is positioned in front of the body like a mobile wall, the longsword in the weapon hand raised just enough to hint at an impending strike. The stance appears determined, as if the figure is advancing to push back the opponent; a moment just before the clash, frozen in a dynamic silhouette. The armor is crafted in a closed plate style, featuring angular segmented parts, visible rivets, and pronounced edges. A full helmet with massive, upward-curving horns completely conceals the face; the visor remains without discernible features. Wide shoulder guards frame the upper body, one side displaying a fur or trophy trim. The large, polygonal tower shield bears a raised skull relief and additional spikes - ideal surfaces for edge highlights, object source lighting, or free heraldry. The long, jagged sword appears battle-worn, with fine blade lines that lend themselves to targeted weathering effects. Lamellar and chain elements are present at the hips and thighs, while the knees and shins are reinforced. Straps, belts, and buckles structure the torso and legs, while the heavy boot rests on uneven base terrain. Torn fabric flaps peek out from beneath the armor; rune-like engravings and notches read like battle scars - a fitting foundation for a grimdark style or other finish variants. The miniature was designed with modern 3D technology and impresses with razor-sharp details and clear edges that easily accept washes, dry brushing, and precise edge highlights. As a swordsman and shield bearer, the silhouette is immediately recognizable - ideal for quick identification in play - and fine enough for ambitious painting projects, kitbashing ideas, and thematic armies. Delivered unpainted; recommended for experienced collectors and tabletop fans. Not suitable for children.
The figure is offered at the designer's unscaled Tabletop size. 75 mm is also offered. Tabletop is the designer's original, unscaled size. For humanoid reference figures, this is approximately 32 mm to eye level.
