Military DioramaField Telephone Handset as Military Diorama Accessory(Ref. 1748D)1:18

The field telephone handset by MyPortal Studios is a decorative accessory for military dioramas and detailed model-building scenes. Available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32 and 1:35, it can add a distinctive piece of equipment to a field position, command post or other staged setting.

The model depicts a classically curved handset with thick, softly rounded earpiece and mouthpiece ends. Its surface appears smooth and solid; a small recess at the end adds further depth to the shape. The distinctive silhouette makes the field telephone design easy to recognize, even in a carefully composed miniature scene.

The following ideas show how the handset can be incorporated into different model-building settings at various scales:

• 1:18: In a military diorama, the field telephone handset can lie on a field table in an improvised command post, near maps and documents as part of a command scene.
• 1:20: In an architectural model, the handset can be placed on a plain desk in a makeshift operations room, creating a focal point in a military interior scene.
• 1:22,5: In a Scale II station scene, the handset can lie on a small message desk in a military position, adding a field post detail to the landscape.
• 1:24: A ship diorama offers a fitting setting: on a table in the radio or chart room, the handset becomes a detail in a military shipboard routine.
• 1:32: In a Scale I landscape scene, the handset can be placed on a crate in the shelter of an observation post—a distinctive accent for a military diorama.
• 1:35: In a workshop scene, the handset can lie on the work surface of a field repair station, adding a communications detail to a military vehicle setting.

You will receive an unpainted physical model-building accessory designed by MyPortal Studios; it is not a toy. The settings described and additional scene accessories are suggestions and are not included.
