MyPortal Studios' concrete block for field shelters adds a distinctive structural element to military dioramas and other modeling scenes. This decorative item is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35 and works as a standalone building block or as part of a depicted fortification.
Slightly irregular edges, a roughly textured surface, and a flat top define the shape of this heavy, well-worn-looking masonry block. Two round holes on the top and an opening cut into the side add technical details. In a miniature military scene, the block can represent stacked walls, defensive structures, or a construction-materials area.
Depending on the scale, the concrete block can be placed in different parts of a modeling scene. The following ideas show some possible uses:
- 1:18: In a garage diorama, the block lies beside the entrance to an improvised field shelter.
- 1:20: In an architectural model setting, it forms part of the defensive wall at the edge of a small military camp.
