The climbing ivy branch by MyPortal Studios is an unpainted diorama accessory that adds a natural plant motif to walls, facades, and other model-making scenes. It is available in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35, and works well as a striking accent or to add greenery to architectural details.
Several sturdy, lightly branched tendrils bear numerous heart- to arrow-shaped leaves. Detailed leaf veins and leaves pointing in different directions give the ivy a lively, climbing appearance. Its slender shape can be placed along a wall, over a masonry wall, or against an architectural detail in a scene.
Depending on the scale, the ivy branch can enhance a variety of settings. These design suggestions show possible uses:
- 1:18: As greenery on the exterior wall of a miniature room or garage diorama, beside a gate or window.
- 1:20: On an old wall in an architectural model, as an accent in an atmospheric street diorama.
