The traffic sign pole with a rectangular sign by MyPortal Studios adds a distinctive infrastructure detail to streets, squares, and other built environments. This unpainted diorama accessory is suitable for architecture and model-making projects in scales 1:18, 1:20, 1:22,5, 1:24, 1:32, and 1:35.
The slim, straight pole has a round cross-section and stands on a flat base plate with suggested mounting bolts. At the top is a portrait-oriented sign with rounded corners, left blank so you can paint it, add decals, or keep its design understated. A small cylindrical finial extends above the sign. Its clean form leaves room for a variety of sign designs.
Depending on the scale, the pole can be added to a variety of model-making settings. The following scenes are suggestions:
- 1:18: Use it as a blank signpost at the edge of a garage diorama, beside the driveway to a small workshop.
- 1:20: Place it at a street corner in an architectural model, where it complements a detailed miniature setting.
- 1:22,5: Set it up at the entrance to a small station in a garden railway landscape.
